The EF College Break Campus Manager program is anything but your average internship experience. We aren’t looking for someone to sit in an office and make photocopies. We are looking for self-starters with an entrepreneurial mindset to make an impact on their campus and spread the word about EFCB. Simply put we want people who want to develop essential skills, want to see the world, and are willing to work for both. This internship will literally take you places that few others can.

Who We're Looking For

Well-connected

Your social network expands way past the people you live with.

A risk taker

You’re not scared to make a mistake, you would rather get out there and try something new than follow a detailed roadmap.

Resourceful

Although you may not have all the answers, you know where to go and who to ask for help.

Outgoing

You're not intimidated by starting up a conversation or being in front of a crowd of people you've never met.

Career focused

You know the party will end eventually and that having a strong resume when you graduate is important.

What You Do

You grow the market

Getting your campus more excited about international travel is the first step of being a Campus Manager Intern.

You brand and network

Through a variety of activities, you make EFCB and yourself well-known on campus.

You SELL

Ultimately your goal is to get classmates booked on EFCB trips—the more you sell, the more you get!

How You Do It

It starts with training

Each CM will complete a series of trainings over the course of the internship that will develop everything from product knowledge to professional skills.

One-on-one management

You’ll report to one of our experienced Area Managers, who will work with you to make sure you’re on track to achieve the highest goals of the program.

Execute the game plan

While each campus is different, we’ll provide you with an outline that has helped countless CM interns find success.

Hard work

We provide the trainings and support, but it’s up to you to put in the effort.

Cool rewards

FREE travel

Each CM intern is eligible to earn up to 3 free 2013 EFCB trips.

Cash

Monthly bonuses are earned for exceeding goals.

Invites to our Campus Manager Kickoffs

Get trained in person by EFCB staff, meet other top CMs, and have fun! Oh and we’ll take care of the costs. (Recent locations include Boston, Miami, Munich, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Costa Rica, and more...)

A resume that stands out

Employers today look for impact, not just participation. After a year with EFCB, you’ll be able to show exactly how much you accomplished and how much you learned.

Future opportunities

Many of our top CMs have gone on to full-time careers with EF. Those who haven’t still left the program with stronger skill sets and resumes than their peers.

“Interning with College Break has been so rewarding. Working independently on campus has pushed me to be more creative, organized and hardworking. I couldn’t have done it without the support of other Campus Managers and my Area Manager.”

Hannah, Texas State San Marcos

“This internship is unlike any I’ve had before. The biggest difference is the amount of freedom you have as a CM to be creative. You’re the decision maker, and you’re responsible for everything from marketing to sales on your campus; this gives you the opportunity to try a variety of approaches until you find the right one. This internship will teach you a lot about yourself and gives you essential skills you’ll need in the future.”

Caitlyn, University of California San Bernardino

“I’ve always been taught if you want something, you have to work for it. That’s what’s great about this internship; there is a strong relationship between effort and rewards. Anyone with this mindset can really earn a lot.”

Brooke, Iowa State University

“Being a part of the Boston Kickoff made everything tangible and motivated me to put as much effort into College Break as I could from that point on. Getting to meet the staff and see the Boston office helped me realize that there was more to this internship than just earning a free trip to Europe in the summer.”

Nick, Quinnipiac University

“Getting to interact and talk with so many people on campus is one of the best parts of the job, especially when it’s about a great topic like travel. It’s definitely tough when people don’t respond, but rejection is something you have to deal with in life, and bouncing back is what’s important.”

Miguel, Boston College

“Being a CM has a lot of great perks like cash and free travel, but it also helps you grow as a person. With amazing Area Managers and the rest of the EFCB staff, this company will help you achieve your goals and learn more than just business skills—you’ll also learn about yourself. I’m so grateful for my experience!”

Johnny, University of La Verne
