Welcome to Berlin! After clearing customs, you’ll meet your EFCB Tour Guide and the rest of your group. Did you know Berlin hosted the 1936 Olympic Games, where runner Jesse Owens made history by winning four gold medals?

Get to know the other travelers in your group over some welcome drinks. Afterwards, head out on the town, or go back to the hotel to catch up on some sleep.

Get to know Berlin with a local guide. Ride down the glittery Kurfürstendamm, Berlin's liveliest street, and pass the Rathaus Schonberg, where JFK gave his famous "Ich bin ein Berliner" speech in 1963. Also see the famed Brandenburg Gate, where raucous Berliners celebrated the Wall's fall in 1989.

Transfer via Dresden

En route to the Czech Republic, stop in Dresden, a city devastated by Allied attacks in WWII. Have time for lunch and to explore a bit.
Arrival in Prague
Continue by bus on to Prague, the City of a Hundred Spires. Did you know that Christmas carol legend Good King Wenceslas is buried in Prague?

Take in the sights of Prague with a local guide. Begin at Prague Castle up on Hradcany hill. Visit St. Vitus Cathedral, with its stained glass and colorful legends, and walk down the Golden Lane, a quaint little row of houses where royal alchemists tried in vain to turn lead into gold. Cross the famed Charles Bridge, with 30 statues lining its sides, and head into bustling Old Town Square, famous for its 15th-century astronomical clock.
